Lesa is wonderful, very relatable and easy to talk to. Sometimes people can be intimidating, especially when talking about private matters, she is not in the slightest. Would recommend!

Lesa has been great. I think there has been a lot of patience on the subjects I would like to address because I am jumping around. I am settling in to this type of counseling and Lesa is making it the most comfortable situation.

Lesa is such a sweet person. She just is so down to Earth and really seems to care about what I’m telling her as opposed to the last in person therapist I saw who gave me routine breathing exercises that it seems she gives to everyone. Lesa makes it very easy to talk to her about whatever is on your mind, totally judgement free, and actually helps you address and dissect issues. She is awesome!

She is wonderful. She listened to my story and led me to ways to handle my anxiety and issues. I feel she really cares about me and if I picked, I would pinpoint her to help anyone I feel needs help. This was my first time seeking therapy and I would highly recommend Lesa. She is very relatable and very well trained in her field. I honestly didn't have much faith in this whole experience before signing up but she has completely changed my outlook. She has helped me better myself as a person but also as partner in my relationship. I can't thank better help enough for being an affordable option for counseling, but more importantly I'm most appreciative for Lesa offering guidance in my journey.

I was feeling like my life was getting out of control, and if I could just get a handle on my emotional responses, I would feel so much better. I was dreading activities I once enjoyed, and I couldn’t stop worrying about things that were really beyond my control. In my first session, I felt calm for the first time in weeks. I felt like I was in a safe environment, where I could express my feelings without judgment. After several sessions my husband noted at this time that I seemed to be coping with things in a more calm and relaxed way. I definitely felt the anxious feeling in my chest loosening and slipping away. Upon completing the sessions, I no longer panic when the phone rings. I feel calm and have returned to my relaxed centered self. I am back to enjoying life as it comes. Thank you! A.

I was hoping to improve my emotions and attention span. I've always had a problem with holding in my emotions over and over until something so small would set it off. I also have an addictive personality so whenever I would have a thought of accomplishing something, I would think about something else that I could be doing. A couple of examples would be those silly games on the computer and a certain soap opera. I went to neurofeedback every week, twice a week. I would notice my attention getting better during each session. The little things that were bothering me emotionally started to lift away also. By the end of the sessions, I had actually had the opportunity to confront someone about a problem instead of holding it in, and it felt amazing. S.M.

Upon hearing about neurofeedback, I was very intrigued.  I had worked in a high stress environment for many years and was transitioning into my own business. I have two small children one of which was born under stressful conditions and had some significant complications. I felt stressed and pulled in many directions without necessarily feeling a clear sense of direction for myself.  After my first week of neurofeedback I noticed some immediate changes. I was sleeping through the night where before I was consistently waking 1-3 times a night. I felt rested and had more energy. I often experienced hot flashes and what I called body alarms where my heart rate would escalate wildly and I would break out in a sweat and feel an adrenal rush at the sound of the telephone or some other unexpected event. Those feelings all disappeared. I often felt scattered and easily distracted. I felt highly emotional and always had accepted that I was a passionate and emotional person. With neurofeedback I experienced a new sense of calm so that I was able to quietly reflect on what was happening around me even if others were in a high emotional state. This allowed me to consider my thoughts and feelings in a calm and undistracted way so I could choose my response. This was a huge change for me as I had never been able to do this before. I have always enjoyed an active and busy life but would often rush through things sometimes with little or no enjoyment.   P.C.
